The RCM3305 and RCM3315 RabbitCore modules feature a compact module that incorporates the latest revision of the powerful Rabbit® 3000 microprocessor, flash memory, mass storage (serial flash), static RAM, and digital I/O ports. The RCM3305 and RCM3315 feature an integrated 10/100Base-T Ethernet port, and provide for LAN and Internet-enabled systems to be built as easily as serial-communication systems.
In addition, the RCM3305 and RCM3315 have two clocks (main oscillator and real-time clock), reset circuitry, and the circuitry necessary for management of battery backup of the Rabbit 3000’s internal real-time clock and the static RAM. Two 34-pin headers bring out the Rabbit 3000 I/O bus lines, parallel ports, and serial ports.
The RCM3305’s and the RCM3315’s mass-storage capabilities make them suited to running the optional Dynamic C FAT file system module and the featured remote application update where data are stored and handled using the same directory file structure commonly used on PCs.
